I am FINALLY putting together my roundup of picks from this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary sale! I haven’t even shopped for myself yet, which is crazy! There have been a lot of life changes and some travel happening(that I will save for another blog post) in the past 2 weeks, so sometimes the shopping and the blogging has to wait. There are several items that are similar to pieces I have purchased in the past few years and still wear, so I will highlight those pieces in each category.
I am going to be honest, I was not nearly as impressed with this years selection as I had been in previous years. It can definitely be overwhelming, but I recommend taking an inventory of what you already own and see where the missing pieces may be that you need to update or purchase for fall. I usually get a great pair of jeans, a couple pairs of shoes(my weakness), and some basic tops and sweaters that can be worn for years. There are some great beauty buys this year of products I absolutely love! Let’s get to it!
Coats & Jackets
Coats are great to get during the sale because there is such an amazing selection and the prices are majorly marked down! I have purchased a few of my favorite fall coats over the years like this cropped suede jacket and this faux leather moto jacket that I LOVE! Teddy coats are also back this year with a newer version and I am so happy!

Tops
Plaid boyfriend tops, basic silk camis, and my favorite cashmere cardigan from last year are back in updated versions this year!

I am all about cozying up in comfy sweaters and cardigans in fall and these are some of my favs for this year!
Athleisure
The majority of the week I am chilling in athleisure(that work from home life attire), and in the fall I am LIVING in Spanx! If you want to snag a pair of faux leather Spanx leggings now is the time since they are marked down to under $65! Normally they are $98!
Bottoms
I love taking advantage of the sale to grab a great pair of jeans for fall! There are so many fun styles this year, and I always will wear my pairs I pick up for several years. I also love to grab a cute miniskirt each year like this suede one or this faux leather one!
Dresses
A good dress for fall is one of the easiest ways to look put together and chic while also staying comfortable!
Shoes
This has to be my favorite category to shop for every fall! I have a MAJOR weakness for cute shoes, especially when it comes to boots. They brought back one of my favorite chic slides from last year in an updated version, as well as an updated version of my go to booties. One of my must have boots are these over the knee boots and then a great pair of commando boots.
Jewelry
A beautiful necklace can add the perfect finishing touch to an outfit. Here are some of my favorites for this year!
Handbags, Hats, & Accessories
There are some great, affordable classic handbags this year that can easily transition from season to season.
Beauty
This is another category I love to take advantage of to grab restocks of some of my beauty favorites! I swear by this eyelash serum! There is also a steal of a deal on my favorite facial cleansing tool and at home microdermabrasion tool. This mirror is a lifesaver for getting ready in dim lighting or while traveling and my favorite lipgloss is on sale too!
