I love B.B. Dakota and their super cute and affordable clothing! I am so excited to partner with them to show some of my favorite summer trends right now, with pieces that will last season to season and can even transition into Fall by simply adding a jacket or a pair of boots! I adore each and every one of the pieces they sent me! Read on to see how I styled each piece for the last bit of Summer, as well as how to transition each into Fall so you can easily update your favorite pieces and get the most out of each wear!
Black and White Striped Dress
For Summer, I just wore this dress as is, and paired some sandals, a pair of black sunglasses, my favorite layered necklace, and an everyday tote bag. You could wear this look to work, out running errands, shopping, to happy hour, etc…and the best part is, this dress is SO comfortable! I love how you can adjust the slit at the bottom to be as high or as low as you want.
Fall Update
To transition this look into Fall, I just added a pair of black heeled booties, and a faux leather jacket! So simple, but completely changes the look! You could also do a cute cardigan and scarf instead if you want something a little less “edgy”.
Floral Maxi Dress
This dress is one of my favorites! It fits perfectly, without having to get it hemmed, which is rare being that I am only 5’2″! The print is that perfect floral print, and I love the little keyhole detail on the top and ruffle hem at the bottom! I just kept it super simple with a pair of flat sandals, sunglasses, a layered necklace, and a cute crossbody bag. I would wear this for a weekend winery stop, out to dinner with my husband, or for a bridal shower or wedding!
Fall Update
All I did to change this look into being able to wear as the temperatures get cooler is throw on a faux leather jacket! I kept my flat sandals for now, as I am totally a Cali girl at heart! However, if it was too chilly for sandals, you could do a pair of booties or a pair of knee high boots! Just add some strappy heels to elevate the look into a dressier, evening look!
White Paperbag Shorts
You guys, I feel like I should be in The Hamptons with these shorts, and I am so here for it! The paperbag waist is super on trend, the fabric is so cool and comfortable, and the longer length keeps these appropriate for any function, and could even be worn to work! I paired these with a red and white striped off the shoulder top tucked in to wear now, and give it those extra nautical vibes! A classic pair of Tory Burch sandals completes the look and keeps you comfortable!
Fall Update
These shorts look just as good for Fall paired with a burgundy off the shoulder sweater tucked in and some cut out booties! I would also pair with a white, beige, or cream sweater to give it a great monochromatic neutral look! These new sunglasses I got in for less than $15 complete the Fall look, and are a total designer sunglasses dupe!
White Eyelet Ruffle Top
If you have been following me for awhile now or have been reading my blog, you know I am a sucker for eyelet and white, so this top was a must have for me! The ruffles add the perfect girly detail as well! I just threw on my favorite pair of distressed denim, some tan platform heels, layered necklace, and my Louis Vuitton Neverfull for the perfect Summer night look!
Fall Update
To update this top for Fall, I just added a little teddy coat, cut out booties, and my designer dupe sunglasses! I switched out my oversize bag for a pop of color with my favorite Gucci crossbody!
