Holiday Home Decor

Merry Christmas to you all! I loved sharing my Fall Home Decor a few months back with you since I had so much fun decorating our new home, and you can check that post out here. For our Holiday home decor, I picked out items that I knew I would be able to incorporate year to year, even if I change up my theme or colors. I stuck with a gold, white, mercury theme with pops of green garland, red poinsettias, and black ornaments. It went so well with our decor that we already have, and some of the items I actually use year round! I hope you enjoy my Holiday home tour, and please feel free to share it if you enjoyed my post! Front Porch

I kept the front porch pretty simple this year with just a couple poinsettias and a wreath. I wanted to do more, but the weather was so up and down this year, it was hard to get out there to lights, garlands, and more wreaths like I wanted to! And check out that bow on the wreath! My Mother-in-law’s neighbor made that out of some gold ribbon, and it is just perfect!

Entry Way

I was on a poinsettia kick this year and had to have a couple on my entry way table as well, with a few candles from Anthropologie. It made for a nice pop as soon as you walk in the door. I LOVE fairy lights, and we had so many I did a gold ribbon and fairy light wrap around our railing, and loved how it turned out! It was fun to do something different than garland here. Our entry way looks straight into our living room, so I wanted to complement the tree and other fairy lights I had placed in the living room, which is where most of our Holiday decorations are. My kitty, Remi, kept getting in all the pictures(I think he secretly loves the camera ๐Ÿ˜‰

Christmas Tree

I LOVED how our tree turned out this year! I knew I wanted to keep it pretty neutral with white, gold, and pops of black ornaments. I kept the ribbon pretty neutral as well, with a semi sheer gold, white with gold edges, and a pretty burlap with gold accents. I got the inspiration for the ribbon from Kelley Nan, who always has the most amazing Christmas trees! She had a great tutorial I read, and then just went for it and made it my own. My husband supervised and told me where I had a blank spot, haha, so it would end up being the vision I had in my mind! The pictures seriously don’t even do it justice, and I am still learning my way around the camera, so bear with me on this. I am obsessed with our tree topper, which my husband found for me last minute at Crate & Barrel, and I have linked it here because once we had the tree up, no picture made it look as pretty as it is!

Fireplace and Mantle

I kept it pretty simple with the mantle and fireplace, just adding some garland, a few mercury trees and fairly lights, and some stockings. I also got some tree trimmings from The Home Depot and replaced the cotton sticks that were in our vases with that to make it more festive!

Living Room

I really wanted the Christmas Tree to be the main focus of our living room, so I kept the rest of it pretty simple! I added a few simple gold Christmas trees on the shelves, some poinsettias, a red blanket, and some extra ornaments in one of my favorite bowls. I love fairy lights, so I had to do a few touches of those on the shelves and railings to add a little extra pop! I also have a feature table that I always do seasonal decor on as well to make it more of a theme look!

Feature Table

I always like to do a fun feature table in our living room since it is further away from the rest of the furniture and decor, so it can really be a theme of it’s own. This year, I loved all the bottle brush trees, so I grabbed a few of those in a champagne color, added lots of candles in glass and mercury holders, and topped it off with a snow underlay and fairy lights! This looks so pretty all lit up each night!

Loft

We have a loft area upstairs that overlooks the living room, and tons of shelving up there as well! I added a few touches with fresh tree trimming for accents in my glass vases and mason jar, poinsettias, Christmas potpurri, and some mercury jars with fairy lights in them! It makes it cozy and comfy for when we hang out and watch movies up there!
